Iv'e always thought Elliott Easton was a very underrated, under appreciated guitar player. He really is the main reason I'm interested in this project. Iv'e always liked Utopia, and the single sounds good. I will definately check out a show on the tour.
I was very pleased when I listened to 'Not Tonight' ... IMHO, it has an unmistakable Cars sound and Todd sings in a way that is somewhat reminiscent of Ocasek and Orr. I wish them much success so they continue to put out new music like this.

Ditto. I'd probably scream like a little bitch if they did one of Elliot's solo tunes.
'Course, it should be said that there's no Cars sound without Greg, either. All five of the originals were great musicians, so I won't call anybody "replaceable", but Greg and Elliot were the main source of musical coloring.
KQRS in Minneapolis play it all the time. I love the song so much when I found out they where coming to do a show here I got Tickets right away (Todd seems to fit perfectly with the cars sound). This will be the first concert I ever paid to see (I have only been to free concerts of Grand Funk Railroad Blues Traveler and Deep purple in the past).
I agree with Eliott that Greg and himself formed the nucleus of the Cars and if they wish to carry on that's their right. Love that Cars sound and always have. Rock on boys. Show 'em how it's done.

Last weekend I heard "Not Tonight" on both WONE Akron,OH and WNCX Cleveland,OH ...... sounded great on both !!!!
Todd was this weeks King Biscuit Flower Hour - a replay of the one with 1/2 a capella tour and 1/2 1978 solo electric solo show.
I am REALLY HYPED about the June 4th OHIO show !!!!!!!!

I haven't heard it yet. I'm nestled into the armpit of the south here, so cool music rarely happens within a hundred miles of here. Sounds cool though. _________________ "It was just another sneak attack of temporary sanity...."
