Welcome to The New Cars Message Board!
Rev your engines and fasten your seatbelts. But, life is a highway and we don't want any road rage on this journey. Okay did we mix enough metiphors? Almost. Now onto the road rules...
1) You must be registered to post on this message board. But, it's FREE! All you have to do is sign up for the EASY RIDER free online membership (http://www.thenewcars.com/shop.cfm/pk/category/ac/join). In your profile, you'll create your "bulletin board handle" which is the name that displays where you post here on the boards. Then, you simply log in on the main site when you visit TheNewCars.com, and post on the boards. It's all connected.
2) Now you're cooking with gas. Or, driving with gas.
3) Back to our message board! Please be respectful of others. That means, you can debate all you want (we appreciate a great argument!) but you may not insult other posters directly. Please refrain from name-calling and all that sort of childish and rude behavior. We reserve at our sole discretion to request you edit a post, or to ban a user if they are repeat offenders. This applies to private messages, too.
4) This is not an advertising space - please don't post links to third parties, unlicensed merchandise, bootlegs, ticket sales, or conduct any transactions through the board.
5) This board is rated PG-17, so hold the profanity.
6) We absolutely will not tolerate posts that are hateful, rascist, sexist, ageist, maoist, taoist (okay,now we're kidding). But we are serious about the first part - no hateful posts will be tolerated here and anyone posting such will be banned without warning.
6) Please keep avatars and signatures to the following:
GIF and JPEG file formats only with a maximum dimension of 80 pixels wide, by 80 pixels tall. File sizes are not to exceed 75K, and animated GIF's are allowed. No profanity. No 3rd party advertising for any website(s).

Signatures:
A maximum of three lines of text or 255 characters , with any graphic image counting as one line (only one image is allowed). GIF and JPEF file formats for any image with a maximum dimension of 100 tall by 150 pixels wide. File size is not to exceed 25k, and animated GIF's are allowed.
